About Me
Hi! I’m Miriam Botwinick and I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist
with more than 15 years of diversified experience in nutrition counseling and consulting, education, health and wellness. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, which range from hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, to lecturing in the community and teaching on the university level. I am accredited to practice nutrition by the Ministry of Health in Israel and the Commission on Dietetic Registration in the United States.
Some of my specialty areas include: weight management, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, and pediatrics.
I received my Master’s degree from Columbia University, where I decided to obtain a double masters in nutrition and exercise physiology. I chose this double major since I firmly believe that exercise plays such an important role in preventing and managing so many different diseases.
My philosophy is to work with you and provide personalized and customized nutrition services to help you meet your goals and help you build and develop healthy eating skills that you can use for the rest of your life. I’m passionate about improving peoples’ health and well-being and I want to help you BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE !
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with nature, hiking, biking, traveling, learning new things and just enjoying life.
